is better - helping corner exit speeds. Improved in-town drivability.

GSX-R1100w. Absolutely the strongest covers you can
buy - and has the highest strength / weight ratio available! Individual replacement cover

Tips: Cams If you have a 93-94 GSX-R1100, you can gain 6% to 10%
power throughout the powerband by simply installing a set of stock
1995 Suzuki GSX-R1100 cams. Looking for your idle mixture
screws? Here is where they are located: Links
Suzuki GSX-R1100, 93-98
with 40mm
non-USA carbs In 1993, the GSX-R1100 gained
water-cooling and a
solid, though a bit heavy, new frame. Power was a bit shy in 93 and 94, but in
1995, Suzuki rethought the cam arrangement and came up with a new set of cams
that "boosted power 10% in the midrange". Ahem -- the top-end power
increased about the same amount, too!
Now, with the later cams, the new 1100 produced more power than the 89-90 air
cooled bikes.
As a suggestion, use the Config #30 kit with the BMC #3092 individual air
filters for 6 hp-10 hp peak increase over a properly jetted bike with a stock airbox.
Hint! - Do not even try
to remove the back of the stock airbox and try to
make more hp than the open air filter setup - 2 weeks of work says - nope. With the back
of the airbox removed, the intake "velocity stacks" are too long,
disrupting the high rpm fuel delivery curve in a way that's usually impossible to fix.
Extended Fuel Screw upgrade - easy

with 4 new screws, springs, washers
and o-rings
Use Factory Pro's new "finger adjustable" fuel screws to adjust fuel
screws for best throttle response. Traveling to high altitude? It's
easy to lean out the lowend temporarily.
Straight knurled for pushing with a flat bladed screwdriver if your
hand doesn't fit.
Screwdriver slotted for if you want to use a short or right angled
screwdriver (so a shop mechanic is happy)
Make your life easier.
Remove old short stock fuel screws, old o-rings, old washers and old
spring. The o-ring might be stuck in the carb, so, take a light and
make sure it's really out if it didn't come out with the screw (or you
can't find it after you took out the screw)
Use a small bent wire to pull it out if it doesn't drop out. Keep the
old parts for "spares".

Shift Kit - Virtually eliminate missed shifts and let the
bike shift quicker.
Virtually eliminate missed shifts. Shift better than a new bike.
Installation: R&R the clutch basket assembly. 1-2 hours.
This kit will not fix a damaged transmission - If the bike is
constantly kicking out of second gear under power at high rpm, you need to split the
cases and replace 2nd gear, the gear it mates with and the second
gear shift fork.
The only way to accurately measure float heights. Works on nearly
every carburetor.
True Rear
Wheel Horsepower Factory EC997a® Eddy Current Dynamometer
Just dropping the cams in on the stock timing marks is OK, too -
making the change easy.
Jetting will need to be redialed in for best performance, but only
minor changes are usual.

The extension of the laboratory
for engines of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology was completed
in about 1935. Its architect was Rudolf Otto Salvisberg (1882-1940).
He had a successful career in Berlin but returned to Switzerland after
the advent of the Nazis. His architectural style was somewhat similar
to that of Erich Mendelsohn. The staircase of the laboratory is in normal
use but well preserved. Edited to the tunes of Chemical Residue by Herbie Hancock. |
Maybe in next rewrite, he'll fix the ignition timing and dyno chapters... Otherwise great book with great starting ideas. |
