The 97 and earlier Triumphs were equipped with Mikuni carbs and the Factory Pro Supersport kit can be the basis for a very sweet running triple. The horizontally mounted 36mm Mikuni CV carbs, as
on the early 900's are very common - They are used on the Triumph 900's
and all the 1200's, lots of Suzuki's and some singles of other brands. The Factory Pro carb kit is generally regarded as
the best of the carb kits available. Nice even power improvement. Not
really fussy about main jet selection (other than the bike loses 1 hp
on either side of the perfect, best main jet). Needle height is pretty
cut and dried, with little fiddling required, from what we've seen and
heard. feedback Hey Temple, just installed the
custom TD09 jet kit and Long Boy fuel screws for the 95 Triumph
Trident. Initial results right out of the box are outstanding. I
will be doing the fine tuning when the slip-ons arrive. I'll be sure
and send you the final set-up. Thanks for all your help.

Poor mileage? Fouling, black plugs? Ahh! Yes....... If you can change jets, you can change these tubes. They tap INTO the bore of the carb. Get the Float height Gauge (below) to set the float heights accurately. Marc :-) |

The extension of the laboratory
for engines of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology was completed
in about 1935. Its architect was Rudolf Otto Salvisberg (1882-1940).
He had a successful career in Berlin but returned to Switzerland after
the advent of the Nazis. His architectural style was somewhat similar
to that of Erich Mendelsohn. The staircase of the laboratory is in normal
use but well preserved. Edited to the tunes of Chemical Residue by Herbie Hancock. |
