"Long Boy"
Finger adj. extended Fuel Screw Kit Frustrated with trying to find an "almost 90 degree" screwdriver
to fine adjust your fuel screws for best idle and cruise?
Use Factory Pro's new "finger adjustable" fuel screws to adjust fuel
screws for best throttle response. Traveling to high altitude? It's
easy to lean out the lowend temporarily.
Make your life easier.
Installation:
Remove old short stock fuel screw, old o-ring, old washer and old
spring. The o-ring might be stuck in the carb, so, take a light and
make sure it's really out (if it didn't come out with the screw or you
can't find it after you took out the screw)
Use a small bent wire to pull it out if it doesn't drop out. Keep the
old parts for "spares".
#5020m fuel screw assembly comes with:
4 Long Boy fuel screws
4 new o-rings
4 new washers
4 new springs
Adds more low-end / midrange, if the
proper main jet is selected, more top-end power. Easy to install
and tune - no slide drilling!
Note!
We have a kit that works from 89 to at least 1993.
we do not know if the kit fits the 94 to 97 models.
If you do know,
email us.
June 2013 The jet kit is in and it's
running beautifully, can't believe the difference it's made!
Thanks for all the help

CRB-S41-3.0
For if you remove the airbox and run individual K&N 1824 pod
filters
$139.95
Config 30 carb kit
For the best top-end power. Good
low-end and midrange. Requires removal of stock airbox and
running BMC 1824 or K&N or equivalent
individual air filters. Otherwise, it is a drop-in kit.
Low-end response is as good as, if not better than the 1.0 kit
with the stock airbox.
Uses 54mm bellmouth air filters.
The famous "spring and a gasket kit".
Includes new Factory Pro shift spring. Slightly stronger -
making shifts quicker and best of all, almost eliminating missed
shifts - regardless of how quickly you shift!
The oil pan gasket is for the 600/750
and 1100 - and am not sure if it is the same gasket as the 400.
If you know,
please email us. Thanks!
Note! These shift kits won't fix a
broken transmission. If you have a bent shift fork and worn
second gear "dogs" that pop out of gear at full throttle and
higher rpm, you'll have to pull the engine, split the engine
cases and replace second gear, the gear it mates with and the
corresponding shift fork, gaskets and clips, shims and seals.
SHFT-PRO-SUZ-3
$139.95
Trans Detent Arm Kit -
stop missing shifts.
The BEST kit.
Factory Pro can create a Pro Shift Kit
(our late style microbearing detent arm AND heavier shift
spring). On the Bandit / GSXR 400. The Pro Kit shifts even
quicker than the above standard kit.
this kit, like the regular shift kit also requires that you
access the oil pan (meaning, you have to remove the exhaust
system, too.)
The oil pan gasket is for the 600/750 and 1100 - and am not sure
if it is the same gasket as the 400. If you know,
please email us. Thanks!

I HAVE TWO QUESTIONS:
FIRST, I HAVE A 94 RF900R WITH A V&H SS2R SLIP-ON AND A K&N FILTER, AS
WELL AS A STAGE I KIT. THE BIKE RUNS GREAT AND I WANT TO KNOW IF AN
IGNITION ADVANCE WOULD DO ME ANY GOOD (WHAT WILL ONE DO?) ALSO DO YOU
HAVE ANY DYNO
INFO ON A RF900? SECOND, MY GIRLFRIEND HAS A 93 BANDIT 400 THAT HAS ALWAYS
HAD POOR CARBURETION. WE ARE CONSIDERING A STAGE I KIT AND POSSIBLY A
NEW PIPE/FILTER/ADVANCE COMBINATION AS WELL. DO YOU HAVE ANY DYNO INFO
ON THIS BIKE AND HAS IT BEEN YOUR EXPERIENCE THAT THESE MACHINES HAVE
SUCH POOR JETTING FROM THE FACTORY?
THANKS , AND GREAT WEB SITE!!!!!!!!!!

The 400 Bandit?
Part of the problem is, like ALL of the 93-95ish watercooled
Suzuki's, that it's got a very low temperature coolant thermostat ~170f,
or so. Makes them seem to run lean and not idle well when the fuel
screws are set for best idle after a good ride. Install a higher temp
thermostat from, perhaps a cbr600f3. We use ~190f thermostat, which is
a bit higher than the f3, but 190f is where the engine runs the best and
makes the best power. Either way, changing the thermostat is mandatory. Then you can tune the carbs for best throttle response with
the kit.
It won't make the bike run too hot, it will just keep it from running
too cool when just cruising around - like summer in foggy San Francisco
- that is, south of the Golden Gate Bridge cause it's warmer to the
north.
The CRB-S41-1.0 Carb Recal Kit will work much better - cleaner and
more responsive everywhere. There is no ignition advance available.
If you were close to us, I would like to do a 1.7 style kit on the
400.

The extension of the laboratory
for engines of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology was completed
in about 1935. Its architect was Rudolf Otto Salvisberg (1882-1940).
He had a successful career in Berlin but returned to Switzerland after
the advent of the Nazis. His architectural style was somewhat similar
to that of Erich Mendelsohn. The staircase of the laboratory is in normal
use but well preserved.
