Last time I had the transmission out to stack a new gear box (don't worry its a cassette, I do it all the time and it only takes about 30 minutes wink emoticon I took the time to replace the OE shift star arm and bearing with a Pro Shift Kit from Factory Pro Tuning.

The kit includes the microbearing arm and F-Pro spring. The F-Pro arm features a low friction hybrid ceramic micro-bearing. It much smoother than the OE bearing and is a direct replacement. The OE parts are still very high quality, coming form HRC.

I was skeptical as to how much better this set up would be but was willing to give it a try. The bike has always been tough to find neutral in and lately has been finicky with shifting if I'm not firm on the gear shift lever. After a single race weekend I'm shocked at how good the bike shifts now. I can only describe it as telepathic!

It seems like the transmission knows I want to change gears even before my foot touched the peg. Not that its too sensitive either, its just perfect! Oh and finding neutral? Yeah not a problem any longer. That alone is worth the price of this kit. Well done Factory Pro. I've got a similar kit for the Ducati 748Rs and can't wait to try it out.

The extension of the laboratory for engines of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology was completed in about 1935. Its architect was Rudolf Otto Salvisberg (1882-1940). He had a successful career in Berlin but returned to Switzerland after the advent of the Nazis. His architectural style was somewhat similar to that of Erich Mendelsohn. The staircase of the laboratory is in normal use but well preserved.
