	The extension of the laboratory for engines of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology was completed in about 1935. Its architect was Rudolf Otto Salvisberg (1882-1940). He had a successful career in Berlin but returned to Switzerland after the advent of the Nazis. His architectural style was somewhat similar to that of Erich Mendelsohn. The staircase of the laboratory is in normal use but well preserved. Edited to the tunes of Chemical Residue by Herbie Hancock.

VERY unique! Later models reverted to standard disc brake setup.
2001 VTR 250 (MC33) Has "ROO" racing pipe, jetting and a few teeth short on the rear sprocket (pulls harder in 5th) Currently has 34,000 miles on the Odometer and runs a 1:40 round our local 1.5 mile road race circuit (12 turns and longest straight is 500 yards), Boyfriend/mechanic has serviced from new, no signs of any real wear in engine or loss of performance, top speed is 110 mph with a long run up. cheers, Cathy South Australia
