Make shifting MUCH quicker and virtually eliminate missed shifts when it's done. Helps prevent wear on 2nd gear engagement dogs and slots and shift forks. Especially needed of bikes with large, heavy transmission gears, like the cb / cbr1000, fj1100/1200, gs1100/1150 and Bandit 1200. Second gear damage is caused by the rider missing a shift - Eventually, the shift fork is bent too much from the gears popping themselves out of gear , the second gear engagement dogs are rounded and start to pop out of engagement under power. If that's the case, there's no "external" hope and you'll have to split the cases, replace second gear, it's mating gear and the second gear shift fork. Take a look at the second gear "slot" on the shift drum, too. Sometimes the "point" gets shattered. After you fix that, then put in this Pro Kit and you'll help protect second gear from new damage from missed shifts. Besides that, the kit really snappens up the shifting - it low rpm, in-town operation and on winding roads, too. |

The extension of the laboratory
for engines of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology was completed
in about 1935. Its architect was Rudolf Otto Salvisberg (1882-1940).
He had a successful career in Berlin but returned to Switzerland after
the advent of the Nazis. His architectural style was somewhat similar
to that of Erich Mendelsohn. The staircase of the laboratory is in normal
