The 650 Pegaso is Aprilia's entry
into the Paris-Dakar style of street, big bore single / off road styled
			bikes -
The stock bike's carb fuel delivery rates leave a little room for improvement - the stock bike usually has pretty abrupt low rpm operation and cruise is not uncommonly a bit "surgey" - especially if one installs an aftermarket exhaust or modifies the airbox - To make the bike smoother and more enjoyable (quicker, too!) , we produce a carb recal kit that will allow the tuner to properly dial in fuel rates for best performance. Better full throttle and low rpm running, pulls harder everywhere, makes more full throttle power - all around, it's more enjoyable to ride.  Factory Pro |

See desc. Factory Pro manufactures NEW, PLATED replacement
needle jets (called emulsion tubes by some) to original factory specs.
The needle jet orifice wears oblong in as little as 5,000 miles and
is particularly aggravated by "in town", low rpm operation. The result
is excessive richness at low rpm that can be partially compensated for
by lowering the fuel level. Inspect and replace when required. |

			The RSVZ1413 chip (with
pump fuel), that Delano "dropped" in typically adds an estimated 3-4
True HP to the Mille over other fuel mod systems. After the first race and some testing, we subtly tweaked the map to run Nutec Special 4 fuel - adding even more power. After the chip was installed, Steve could draft bikes that he couldn't draft before - about a 4-5 hp increase over the other fuel mod system and 21st in open Superbike! |
"George Price from New Jersey rode the bike this past Saturday in Lima, Ohio and made the main even though the bike is still using the stock chassis!" |
